speckulatin about a hypothesis
June 28, 2006 on 10:38 am | In Happenings | No CommentsIf you should happen to have missed the latest board meeting, you might be happy to learn that Retroacitve Dynamics, Inc., is making great strides towards securing the vanguard of technological innovation in today’s industrial future. Whereas in the past our forward progress was largely bound to present-tense potential applications, we can now proudly proclaim that our bio-techno-molecular engineers have developed the means by which we might dominate the fields of past-, present- and future-tense applications, and will have branched off into subjunctive moods by last February, unless history went horribly awry.
What this means to you, as a stockholder:
You may experience dizziness, headaches, nausea, peripheral glimpses of parallel movement that disappears should you fix your gaze directly at it, and certain memory anomalies — you will remember events differently from your initial experience of them — of which you probably won’t be aware.

foolishness
June 21, 2006 on 9:29 am | In Happenings | No CommentsCome cauterize your spirit in the smoky recesses of Kings Barcade this very evening.
Lots of reed duet-type stuff with myself and Brent Bagwell (of Pyramid and Eastern Seaboard). Late notice because I wasn’t sure if I’d be over my food-poisoning travails. But I will persevere.
Kings. 10:30.
Crowmeat Bob and Brent Bagwell.
feast of pure treason
June 9, 2006 on 8:18 am | In Happenings | No CommentsSpittle back my drearlings and whittle your wit with the funest and recumbent sprays of sound that froth forth from forms uncharted. Bask in the peerless perilous porous pules of sweet sweaty swifttongued soulswoons.
And emblazon your MRI with a permanent bolt from the blue.
This Saturday.
Kings.
10 pm.
Tripwire Trio with Hem of His Garment and Pig and Iron.
You can catch a earful of the Tripwire up at the official Retroactive Dynamics website. That’s me and Chuck J and Chris Eubank.
Hem of His Garment is a big wall of drone that will hone your consciousness into the crystalline sentience of a filament in a light bulb.
Pig and Iron is Drew Robertson of Phon performing electro-acoustic earsport. Instrument builder, odd foundsound object collector, noise pundit, man about town.
And be sure and prep yourselves with your disciplinary exercises in anticipation of Dr. Robert’s Health Jazz, June 21st this time. With guest Brent Bagwell on reeds (of Pyramid and Eastern Seaboard). Also at Kings.
